Introduction: Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world dominated by the 1000m high table mountain which is surrounded by walking trails, wine lands and beaches.


Cape Town is the capital of the Western Cape and the parliamentary capital of the republic. The first European who sailed around the Cape was Bartholomew Dias. He called it Cabo da Boa Esparanca (Cape of Good Hope).



Table Mountain, the most famous mountain in South Africa. In the city centre you find The Castle of Good Hope built between 1666-1679. The Cape of Good Hope is a unique peninsular with walking trails, beaches and a beautiful flora called fynbos. It is about 40km from the city.
