Introduction: Jeffreys Bay or better known as J-Bay is the Surfing Mecca of South Africa. It's very well known by all surfers from all around the world for thier rollers, especially when the ground-swell in conjunction with the northwesterly brezze at low tide, this is the perfect mixture to create perfect waves. These occour best in winter and is the reason why J-bay has become the home to the Billabong Pro which happen each year in July. Take a walk down a golden beach and you will find a kaleidoscope of colours. Shells of all sizes and colours lie stewn along the beach. Watch the beach come to life when dolphin sightings are almost a daily occurrence and the whales and thier calves play in the bay between July and October. Come and experiance the night life with the locals at thier very vibrant pubs and grubs, giving you the real feel of a surfer country feeling town. Surrounding towns will include: Sea Vista, Paradise Beach, Ashton Bay, Sea View and Van Staden's River Mouth.

Must See: Shell Museum, Surf Museum, Penguin Centre, Billabong Factory Shop, Wildlife Volunteer Project, Paradise Beach, Van Stadens Goege Flower Reserve and Bird Sanctuary, Seekoei River Nature Reserve, Seal Point and Krom River which is home to European mute swans.
